Blackjack

Blackjack is a popular casino card game where players compete against the dealer rather than each other. The objective is to have a hand value closer to 21 than the dealer’s without exceeding it. Each player receives two cards and can choose to "hit" for additional cards or "stand" to keep their current total. Number cards are worth their face value, face cards count as 10, and an Ace can be 1 or 11. If a player’s hand exceeds 21, they "bust" and lose automatically. The dealer must follow specific rules, typically hitting until they reach 17 or higher. Winning hands pay even money, while a blackjack—an Ace with a 10-value card—pays higher odds unless the dealer also has one, resulting in a tie.
